30 Hour IV Therapy is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.  This class is provided to GPN's, LPN's, RN's for refresher as well as EMT's and incorporates the knowledge of IV Therapy.  There is a portion of the class that can be completed at home with studying a power point presentation and completing the study guide that is provided. Once the home study portion is completed the next step is the hands on portion with simulation of IV starts on a manakin as well as the required check-offs. Once this class is completed we hope you have gained the knowledge and skills in performing IV Therapy in your place of employment.
